WICHITA, Kan. Oct. 17, 2023 – The Greater Wichita Partnership will proudly promote the Air Capital of the World at the 2024 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas from Oct. 22-24.
NBAA-BACE is one of the world’s largest gatherings in business aviation, featuring more than 20,000 business professionals, owners, operators, government officials and manufacturers from around the globe.
“NBAA-BACE is a platform to showcase the Air Capital of the World and its significant role in the global aviation landscape,” said Partnership Executive Vice President of Economic Development Andrew Nave. “Our attendance helps build valuable relationships and attract new business opportunities.”
The Partnership will join more than 800 exhibitors and will lead a delegation of six businesses and organizations to the event. Partners include Aerospace Systems & Components Inc., Bodycote, Classic Learjet Foundation, Modig Machine Tool, the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) and WSU Tech.
Key economic development partners including the City of Wichita, Harvey County Economic Development, Kansas Department of Commerce, Sedgwick County, Wichita Airport Authority and Wichita State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) will also attend.
Together, the teams will highlight the region’s robust workforce and extensive industry infrastructure which includes more than 350 world-class suppliers and cutting-edge technologies.
In addition to manning a large booth on the NBAA-BACE show floor, the Partnership will host a happy hour on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 3 p.m. sponsored by the Wichita Airport Authority. All event attendees are invited to attend.
The Partnership has exhibited at NBAA-BACE since 2005 and looks forward to the 2024 event as a chance to strengthen the region's global visibility and attract new investments and business prospects.
