Butler Community College is a public institution based in El Dorado with a total enrollment of nearly 9,000 students. The college offers programs in IT, agriculture, business, fine arts, nursing, and education, both online and at seven Kansas locations.
Cowley College is a premier community college based in Arkansas City with locations in nearby Wellington, Winfield, Mulvane, and downtown Wichita. The college also offers online and on-site courses at nine area high schools.
The Kansas Health Science Center is in the process of developing a proposed Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in downtown Wichita.
