Kaylie Aikins is currently a senior at Wichita State University finishing her bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a minor in Business Marketing. In the spring of 2023, she is looking forward to starting the Communications master’s program at Wichita State. Kaylie’s passion that she loves lies in the marketing world and considers herself to be a marketing and social media whiz, who in the last year has taken up being a freelance Social Media Manager and content curator. When she isn’t studying or working, you will most likely find her volunteering, going to cycle and Pilates classes, exploring Wichita’s hidden gems, and even turning her studio kitchen into a bakery.
Brooke Guy is a senior at Wichita State University studying strategic communication and business marketing with intent to graduate in May of 2023. She is a heavily involved student with a passion for service, leadership and connection. She believes that learning is a life long journey and tries to live by this each and every day. She plans to join the public relations field within the sports industry after gaining some experience while she works towards a master's degree. Brooke loves dogs and often spends her days off volunteering for the Kansas Humane Society through the dogs day out program. She is hopeful that she will soon be able to travel as she loves learning about all kinds of cultures, traditions and cuisines. Top locations on her list include Fukuoke Japan, Rome, Indonesia and Sweden.
Alexander is a senior at Wichita State University and is majoring in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. He works at NIAR's Beech Wind Tunnel, where he has worked with customers from the aerospace industry for the last three and a half years. A Wichita native and a proud Shocker, he has spent his time at WSU volunteering as a student ambassador and giving tours on campus as a tour guide, promoting both WSU and Wichita to prospective students and their families. Alexander enjoys spending what little free time he has by reading, frequenting Fairmount Coffee, swing dancing, rock climbing at Bliss Climbing and Fitness, baking sourdough bread, and longboarding around town with friends.

Storm Dial is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Wichita State University, where he is pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences (BS) as well as minors in Public Health and Chemistry. He is the recipient of the Rudd Foundation Scholarship which provides Full-Ride scholarships to motivated Kansas students who demonstrate grit and determination. This has allowed Storm to focus on his studies and engage in research. Under the direction of Dr. Bin Shuai, Ph. D. he has been able to explore the field of genetic discovery and help create a sustainable treatment for crop infections. Storm is also passionate about helping others achieve their dreams, and has traveled the globe on various mission trips to provide aid to low income communities. In his free time, Storm helps tutor other undergraduate students and volunteers at the United Way of the Plains. After graduation, Storm hopes to attend the University of Kansas Medical School to pursue his dream of becoming a Physician.
Jonathon Hogge is a fourth year medical student at the University of Kansas pursuing the field of Ophthalmology. He frequently volunteers at the student-run community clinic, JayDoc. Raised in Southeast Kansas, he plans on taking exceptional eyecare back to rural Kansas. When he isn't studying, he enjoys running and biking with his three children.

With a combination of strong leadership experiences, clinical training through a broad scope of medicine, and an excelling academic record, I am currently in my fourth year of medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita. Throughout my past undergraduate and graduate education, I have taken advantage of educational and vocational opportunities to make myself a distinct future physician in the field of family medicine.
My name is Crystal Septer and I am a WSU Tech student set to graduate in 2024 with my Associates of Applied Science in Business Administration. I have been the Nursery Director at Bethany United Methodist church for nearly six years. I received a scholarship from the Soroptimist of Wichita in the Fall of 2022. I began a Federal Work Study position in the WSU Tech campus library, also in the Fall of 2022. I am very grateful that you took interest in me.

Shocker Pathway Biomedical Concentrations

Eva Weber is a Pre-PA, Biomedical Concentrations Major going through the Shocker Pathway program at Wichita State University Tech. There she will earn 50 credits and finish a bachelor's degree at Wichita State before applying to their PA program. Eva is an Honor student, the first Chair holder of the President’s Academic Council (PAC), and a volunteer at Ascension via Christi St. Francis as a Patient Satisfaction Volunteer. She will be taking the CNA course in Spring 2023 semester to gain clinical hours and continue to pay for her college out-of-pocket with no student debt.
Reba Weber is working towards becoming a Physician Assistant by attending WSU Tech's Shocker Pathway, majoring in biomedical concentration. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society. Additionally, she is a hard working student that strives to finish her bachelor's degree with no students loans.
Hello! My name is Steffaney Willard and I am currently attending WSU Tech for the Criminal Justice Program. After I get my Associate's Degree, I plan on working on my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. What I plan on doing for those degrees is I want to work for the FBI as a Behavioral Profiler. If that doesn't work as planned, I hope to get a job at the CIA. In my free time, I play the saxophone, guitar, and spend as much time with my nieces and nephew as much as I can. I'm glad to be of service.
