Kingman County

Located west of Wichita, Kingman County is a predominantly rural community with a diverse economy that features manufacturing, agriculture and oil and gas. The City of Kingman’s walkable downtown district features exciting dining, shopping, entertainment experiences and six buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. The City recently completed a 20-year comprehensive development plan outlining goals and objectives for its continued vitality.  A new master park plan focuses on enriching and expanding quality of life and place in Kingman.

The County encompasses 864 square miles and includes the Byron Walker game preserve and public hunting area in the west and Cheney Lake Reservoir in the east.
